Rossi: I’ll do a Gibernau to Lorenzo

I've already asked him for that...

I wonder,who's Tom's favorite rider next weekend...

<
If you'd taken the time to do some reading you'd know what the deal is. I've got a soft spot for Barbera when he's riding well, so i'm just waiting for an excuse to get that one out, haven't gotm my hopes up just yet though because he hasn't shown much consistency, its anybodies guess what he'll do next.

I just had a thought. Can there be any doubt which bike is the best (and indirectly) has the advantage in the series? Yamaha is poised to be the only manufacture to have multiple riders win on their brand in the last two years in GP.

What other manufacture can claim that? None.

yam sacrificed 07 championship once they new they where struggling. Rossi said to them not to worry about the difference in speed and to carry on working on the rest of the bike, like corner speed stability. looks like that sacrifice is paying off.

Throwing away your own mantra " The rider make the difference" now?
Put Stoner and Pedrosa on yamaha's too and you'll have the invincible bike taking all podiums in every race.

I know Rossi is intimidated by Lorenzo, I just hope Lorenzo's able to deliver the goods when it counts..... Rossi needs to be humbled. Go Jorge Lorenzo !!
Wow I agree with you here for a bit. I would like to see Lorenzo do that .... to Rossi and see what is said afterwards.

Look at poor Stoner fans

. Either Rossi wins or Rossi 2nd to Lorenzo, the BIG LOSSER still be Stoner with the "superior" carbon frame GP9

We'll see.

As if with the current formula it was ever about to come down to a last lap change of the lead on the final corner...

That he/she was correct about rossi for that race but not about lorenzo; that is why they have the races as far as I am aware, to see who wins
<
.

Rossi is obviously at the head of the field in general at this time and further ahead of stoner than he was at this stage last year; however stoner has done better at motegi and jerez and equalled his performance at qatar in his dominant championship winning year of 2007, so I wouldn't put the glasses down yet. If rossi does complete his 100th win at mugello as I have said elsewhere it will start to look fairly difficult for casey.

that's ........ - no other yam in top 5 at jerez - horhe still shows us how to faLL OFF

Are you actually implying that the Yamaha is NOT the most competitive bike on the grid for factory AND satellite riders alike?

yam rider's complained about lack of front end feel once the track got hotter. i think stoner said the same about his bike to. maybe this was part of the reason lorenzo fell but either way the fiat bikes and the tech 3 bikes have proven to be the most competitive all round bikes on the grid these past couple of seasons.

The Yams are good, but not a guarantee for success - As a satellite rider Edwards has been in the 1st five once this season. RdP, Melandri, Kallio, deAngelis & Elias are all in front of Toseland. Yamaha does so well because of Rossi and Lorenzo (even if Horhe does overdo it from time to time) My point is that for a bike to reach world class winning standard takes a whole lot of input from a world class winning rider and it is not then the case that every- and anybody could win if they got that bike.
