Rossi and Uccio spent all day every day riding tandem on a scooter.
I just looked up the word gay in the dictionary and that's the exact definition it gave.

Yeah yeah, like you had to look up gay in a dictionary.

You probably submitted the meaning to Wiki.

Sometimes folk protest too much about things.........

Don't get me wrong... I try my best not to be prejudiced towards anyone - the color of someones skin or what they do doesn't change who someone truly is.

I really don't want to open a bigger can of worms here so just know that these next words are how I personally feel and reflect my strong beliefs: I just don't agree with their choice of lifestyle... that of going against how we were created and designed to live.

No problem, dude... was just about to tell funny tale of how the most popular colour of clothing, motorbikes, cars, etc... for young hetro Thai guys is pink... about how different cultures/societies define what is "gay"... then I read the following post...

See the thing is Snurf, many of us do not agree with your choice of lifestyle/beliefs but WE DON'T BRING IT UP ON POWERSLIDE - keep that .... in your home or place of worship - this is OUR PLACE OF WORSHIP and we'll thank you to keep your comments on non-appropriate issues to yerself!

I agree - if you want to argue the rights/wrongs of homosexuality take it to the lounge. Bring some decent arguments because you'll need them.

An interesting article even if somewhat irrelevant to the bigger picture of Rossi (well IMO).

It certainly comes across heavily that Uccio is extremely uncomfortable with the limelight that he attracts by his very role in the business empire that is Rossi as well as the role he plays in Rossi's personal life.

One wonders as to the impact Uccio has in regards to helping Rossi remain 'stress free' or 'focused' and personally I find it intriguing that Uccio receives the focus that he does from many. Were Uccio a female perfroming the same duties or role the focus would be entirely different from the fans and media alike (rarely are riders partners interviewed). But after reading that snippet I have to say that I actually feel sorry, almost to the point of pity Uccio as he comes across as incredibly insecure and lacking in confidence, all of swhich is caused by the focus on him which it should be stated, will not reduce whilst he plays the role he does.

As for the scooter story Uccio mentions, I reckon each and every kid would do the same just to see how fast it goes, I know I did when dad took my pushbike once and I found a scooter.

As for the sexuality argument.

If you admire the achievements, skills and outright ability of an athlete less because they are not a heterosexual, than it is you who has the issue, not the athlete. I personally couldn't care less if an athlete is homosexual, bisexual, heterosexual or even a transgender as I admire them for their sporting prowess.

Why quote me for this outburst?

I provided a cogent answer with no slant. I ain't a homophobe, this is merely observation.
