nah rossi will stay in motogp for another 2 years after 2009, he just wants racing instead of everyone going round the track like a train........

Maybe they have the blue and red wires mixed up.

Dorna would not allow Rossi to do that.
<
At least Half of the fan switch to SBK and that's bad for Dorna. Rossi is Dorna's saviour.
<
....

Since MotoGp shift to 4 Stroke 4 cylinder i.e 800c.c. ,MotoGp is more or less is redundant to SBK and SBK is more thrilling and breath taking. Of course technology is another matter.

This is one of the most unlikely unfeasible scenarios that has ever been presented on this forum. It would have been like suggesting that Michael Schumacher should go to World Touring Cars because he's had a few dodgy domestic superbike races. Then again a forum should be all about speculation why not imagine it? I couldn't see Rossi working for Tardozzi, and if the car thing as you put it did fall through, then he'd just return to GP and smoke 'em all again. To ride for Ducati is not dissimilar to HRC in the way that the factory likes to 'own' their riders. Vale makes this point in 'What if I'd never tried it?' He considers himself and wants to be remembered as a Yamaha rider in the same way as Lawson and Rainey were synonymous with the marque.

Of course the man can't resist a challenge, I'd love to see Rossi do a season in WSB with Yamaha Italia - or even a wild card ride one day. Superbikes?....been there though, he was bloody handy on the SP2 in the eight hour remember?

I don't think he is going to return to the 250/600 class either, worthy though it may be
<
.

Yep he's putting in time in so much in Rally cars to go SBK

Yes but its not purported that he is raving about 250/600 .... he is about SBK ..... why so?

why cant he just say he likes sbk, as a spectator/fan, without someone making assumptions he means he wants to give up his motogp place and ride there??

I've got it!! ..... Rossi is just putting the wind up Biaggi ( edit whoops not Rossi )
Like when Doohan went and Biaggi thought ..... its mine now

now Baylis is gone .... Biaggi is thinking ....its mine now!

then along comes Rossi!

Completely agree with you here. Rossi was just using WSBK as a comparison. He has spoken out several times about how MotoGP lacks exciting racing. Obviously he loves to win, but would much rather have it come after a battle, especially a close one that comes down to the final lap. Every fan of the sport would be delighted to see closer racing as well.

Because he is Ezy's #1 card for keeping the fans at motgp.

And those fans hang off Rossi's every word.

So if Rossi says SBK is better to watch all the <strike>lemmings</strike> I mean Rossi fans go charging over to SBK to take up watching that ( example ..... have you seen Rog. lately? )

only after Xmas will they suddenly realise:
1. "hey the seasons over!"
2. "hey where's Rossi!"

and come straight back to motogp...

The worst problem is that Organizer in Charge keep messing it up… they now are looking at Sole Engine Supplier for 600cc to take over 250’s ‘Close Racing’ and mess it even more… how can anybody think they are NOT IDOTS!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Wander @ Oct 27 2008, 03:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>...I don't know exactly what, but if Moto GP keeps on going this way, it's gonna be ....!

Get Carmelo and crew out of the way… get 990 and 600 (both commercially great) from whatever manufacturer wants to come with whatever tyres can be supplied and less restrictions… Oh but it does not sound safe (nor what they have done until now), then again increase runaway areas and Riders equipment, it worked before!

Rossi most like his ‘Street’ tuned up M1 over his ‘GP’ M1 my guess!
