Riding Style - Which riders' style do you prefer?

In your humble opinion, in the motoGP class, who has the coolest riding style?

I like Toni Elias's hang off the side for dear life style. Although it's not the best for getting heat in the rear tire, I think it's the most entertaining to watch and appreciate.. He acknowledges it's more of a problem than a benifit, but he's unable to change after 16 years of doing what feels comfortable.

And since I can't only choose one, I'm going to say Colin Edwards has my second nomination. Although he doesn't look that aggressive when he pilots the machine, his graceful style of riding the bike reminds me of a swan flying, with his head and neck extended far out from the bike.

BTW we all know rossi has the best and most functional style, that goes without being said.... Hence try not to jock him too hard and give some other riders some thunder!

Have you ever seen Nicky race supermotard? Now THAT is sweet style!

Tony all the way! only just noticed how good it looks while watching the jerez gp. Certainly doesnt look smooth like edwards, nakano and rossi tho

Elias... definatley the most entertaining.... he throws himself from side to side .... makes me laugh sometimes

The best riders such as Rossi, Pedrosa and Stoner obviously have the most effective style but the most entertaining style to watch is definitely Toni Elias!

I like Hoppers hanging off style, shame he's not sponsored by Dianese as they have titanium on the elbows of their leathers. Be great to see some sparks flying.

Capirossi's style also holds a special place in my heart, I just love it. He looks like he's about to beat up everyone on the track with all that aggression he has.

Randy De Puniet has a pretty exciting style too, I remember seeing a picture of him and pretty much the entire right hand side of his body, knee, thigh, bum and elbow where touching the floor.

Did you get the idea for this post off the motogp.com website? As there is a video of Toni explaining his riding style, wish I had a membership to that site to watch that.

i liked Nick on the 990s (not so much on the 800s)...on a Motard he's freaking amazing!..

but i'll go old school with McCoy.

I actually have many different I like.

Biaggi/Pedrosa for the clean high corner speed and soft transitions.
Stoner and Rossi for their tidy super efficient style.
McCoy and Elias for spectacular entertainment.

I don't like Edwars allthough I have som of the same habit (very straight back and high up braking into the corners.)

Yeah...Spies friggin manhandles the bike. It literally looks like he just throws it into every corner. I wanna see him in MotoGP as soon as possible.

For MotoGP style though I'll have to go with Nicky. Go back and look at Assen last year...he was backing it into every corner and sliding that .... around...that was awesome.

elias is hilarious to watch! i wish they would put the lean angle calculator up when on board with him - he's the only rider i want to see that data for!

melandri has awesome style too

Stoner tidy??? He looked way loose at Jerez and i loved every minute of it. He gets my vote.

Although as i have said in an earlier post Elias is the most entertaining to watch because of his style. All of the riders whether it be Rossi, Stoner, Capirossi, etc are great to watch once they are "in the groove" and riding 100% flat out.
