RC211V documentary

A couple of things stuck out in the film for me: The film does seems to shed light into the HRC/Honda Culture at the time. I did get a sense that it was not about the rider but more about the bike. Or at least it was not about Rossi but about the bike winning. Also from the film you do get the sense that Rossi was not the development genius that he projects. Yes the RC211V was early in Rossi's career and his talents and experience have grown since the filming, but as is, the film did show Rossi was not as in depth involved in the overall development

Personally, I've never credited Rossi with the RC211V in the way that I've credited him for the M1 (which should also be noted, was a collaborative effort with Burgess and Furusawa). Honda had that bike sorted from the word go.

This is like trying to suggest that Creationism is not true and that Evolution is. Pure blasphemy!

Creationism is true....

Evolution...ehhhh.. to many holes in the story to be true..

Rossi the Goat.. yeah.. but Casey and Lorenzo are faster..

Cheers for that, brings back memories.

Was working at Honda at the UK head office in 2001. Remember wandering through reception one day and, completely unannounced, they had put one on display. Even now it still hard to credit how small it was.
