You sound like that's the same as putting 2 bucks on Poppa's Mustache in the fourth. Come on the first has a chance. The second...okay maybe half a lap.

Just some bits i seen.

DANI PEDROSA will race this weekend in the upcoming first round of the MotoGP championship.

The Spanish smurf has reportedly been given the all-clear to get back on the factory Repsol Honda this weekend in Qatar.

Apparently, the injuries to his broken left forearm (radius) that he suffered in a massive highside in Sepang during pre-season testing has repaired better than was originally hoped for. Pedrosa has now passed a medical inspection in Barcelona and is now about to fly to Qatar for this weekend.

Good news for Dorna. We can't lose anyone else off the depleted grid for this season, can we?

BRADLEY SMITH is quickest in Qatar during the final sessions of practice before qualifying gets underway proper for this weekend's first round of the MotoGP championship.

Although the Qatar track was coated in a fine layer of desert sand, Smith topped the timesheets on his Aprilia with a best of 2m 06.568, a second slower than the outright lap record set last year by Scott Redding (2m 05.695).

Bradley said: "The time is good, but the most important thing for us today is that we have improved. The track conditions have been improving through the sessions and we have worked mainly on the front suspension, and I believe that we have found the best way to get the bike working for the corners now.

"Here it is very important to get the bike turning well because the majority of the corners are long."

Second fastest was Julian Simon with 2m 07.042 while Sergio Gadea was third on 2m 07.843.

I would like to see a good fight upfront but i'm not hopeful with these long straights

Pre-season testing so far has shown the 2006 world champion to be much slower than Aussie team-mate Casey Stoner on long straights in Sepang and Qatar.
Hayden’s deficit during the first test of 2009 was 10kph on Sepang’s two long straights.

And he tried a new bigger fairing to help make him more aerodynamic in Qatar earlier this month, only to marginally reduce the top speed gap to 2007 MotoGP world champion Stoner.

The Kentucky rider told MCN: “My top speed compared to Casey was a long way down in Sepang. We tried a fairing to help get me under the bubble in Qatar but it wasn’t any better.

"The speed was no better and it made the bike heavier to turn in the fast corners. There’s not a big weight difference between Casey and me, but he definitely gets behind the screen better than I do.

"On the start/finish line in Qatar he was 6kph faster, so its maybe more by the time we get to turn one. How he comes onto the straight is a lot to do with it but in Sepang coming on the front straight I was getting on the throttle in the same place as him. I got to figure something out because that speed is a lot.”

hmmm.....

anyway my pic...
