Qatar test

time for the qatar test topic to make its first breath...

predictions:
- jorge will be finally running with the top dogs again... (did you see his qualification last year?)
- hayden will be fast (did you see the length of that straight?)
- dovi will be fast (did you ever see a slow italian on a repsol honda?)
- stoner's wrist will be healed a lot, and he will (duh!!) be fastest.(did you see him bullying that thing around the corners at sepang?)
- rossi will be talking a lot about his injuries, but that wont stop him from almost be the fastest(did you see his wrist? me neither...)

he was on a yamaha for most of them. he was very slow on a repsol honda, your criteria i do believe.

i checked it, and he was indeed better on the yamaha, but he still has been third twice in the champs on the honda

that was on the PONS honda, not the REPSOL honda when he finished 5th with zero wins and only 4 podiums.....

your absolutely right... he rode the camel honda then, and he failed being fast on a repsol...

I know you're just trolling but you're doing just a terrible job. It is not possible for Hayden to be slower than Canepa, so why say all the satellite Ducatis? That's unreasonable, no one is going to take you seriously (not that anyone does outside of Hong Kong's finest ladyboy establishments). So why not make it interesting and spark a serious debate. Say Gibs will be faster than him, or Kallio. I could see both of those getting a rise out of us Hillbilly supporters.

I loved the night racing last year. The colours were fantastic.

Rossi
Repsols. Both excellent riders on a great machine.
Suzuki. We'll see what the new aero package does. Do they have the hp to pull the last part of the straight with the big boys?. If so, Capper/CV up front will change the series.

Hayden has to be second Ducati this test. He has to break through the riding/setup barrier IMO.

Very interested in Jorge. One of my favorite riders but can he return to top form. If so look out.

I'm calling right now no-one puts 300 points on the board this year.

Please just ignore Pinky's posts. He's only saying this crap to get us in a fit. he has no valid opinions and nothing to contribute.

That said, No one knows how this test will turn out. We can hope (Hayden does better, Stoner's wrist is better and he stops complaining, Pedro starts crying like a .... after sliding off track), but I think every rider on the track has something to prove and they're all going to fight for a good lap time.

Thanks for the shout out Jaz. But, I'm done with Pinks. He's the posterchild of a kid who has access to his mommy's computer.

Ok. here is my prediction for the test:

Stoner sets fastest time.
Rossi, very close second.
Lorenzo, third, (reference last year's pole).
Capirossi continues his "old man can still do it" impressive run by claiming 4th fastest.

Peders over Dovi by a hair.

Somewhere in between will be Elias, Edwards, Vermeulen.

Hayden over Kalio by a hair, but both, just hoping they make top ten. (It pains me to say, though hope burns eternal, however, reality paints a different picture, but then again, you never know). BTW, if Kalio beats Hayden, I may drop a few/alot of sleeping pills...

Other Notes: Toseland will be desperate to show up Edwards, fun for us. Melandri beats Canepa and declares the Kawasaki to have potential and will race the season (read of course, from the Dorna teleprompter).
