Ducati didn't believe him and kept developing the bike for Stoner, thinking that a younger rider would adjust fairly easily and their bike would shine with two different riders. See now where Melandri, Elias and Guintoli are... Capi was right.
Ducati went Stoner's direction with no hesitation and now they are on top, but they're probably not feeling completely satisfied as they are 100% rider-dependent.
i have to agree with that, lets just hope ducati manage to keep stoner because i think there will be many who want him to ride for them.
