I've watched a handful of races from Barber on TV but am not terribly familiar with the layout or the potential difficulties with changing the circuit. But if like you said, it can be done with little effort and investment, I think it would be a great way to get a race to the east coast. You're right about the elevation changes and the natural beauty of the place, it looks a very cool track on TV.

I've been saying this too. 10 rounds are in Europe, and its the size of our lower States. Surely we can have another round here. I think they should be back to back too, so they don't have to travel so far. And bring superstock, so we can get a look at them.

Agreed, the US is a huge land mass with over 300 million people,i dont think it would matter one bit if they held back to back races. They could even have 2 weeks in between and use one of the weeks for a traveling PR convoy across the country making stops along the way to promote the next race. Can you imagine a Hooters bike night and all of a sudden the WSBK convoy rolls in. Most of those cities i listed that were within 800 miles of Birmingham are a short drive from one another.Have a contest at every stop with the riders judging a ..... contest and the winner gets an all expenses trip to the race weekend as a Umbrella girl. I should be a promoter.

Should be there for Phillip Island next year.

So Povol, imagine WSBK does decide to come to Barber. Would you go if the AMA were also part of the weekend events, given your self imposed embargo on the AMA?

That said, I do like the idea of a Hooters bike night/..... contest.

Yep, i would go. i would wear an anti DMG shirt of some sort and maybe visit the pits, or ride around on the tram while AMA/DMG was racing.
