So now that we have seen most of what everyone is going to be wearing, what is everyones opinions of the new colours for 2006? Teams, Bikes, Leathers and Helmets.

(why is Pedrosa still on a matt black RCV along with a few others?)

First of all the Camel Yam's. Quite nice arent they? its pretty much the same as last years camel colours so nothing special. Rossi likes yellow so... Like his helmet? obvioulsy he couldnt have everything yellow so his mainly black helmet looks quite nice i think.

Wonder why Colins no5 is in the style of the Laguna no5 he ran last year, and not the usuall 'Texas Tornado no5'?

I aslo think Sete looks good in Red(it suits his face!) as do the Ducati's, not much change in the design of the colour scheme but, why change it if it looks good?

Still not a big fan of the Red n Yellow Fortuna Hondas but i think it will grow on me.

The Camel Yams are nice looking, the paint is no different from the Camel Honda but I think the M1 is the best looking bike on the grid, if they had a decent looking exhaust it would be an all time favorite.

Why are Pedrosa and others on matte black bikes? Just guessing but I would assume Pedrosa has something to do with still being under contract to Telefonica. Casey Stoner I would assume is because LCR hasn't secured all its sponsorship (BTW hats off for switching to Alpinestars, Casey). The Suzukis are running matte black and partial matte black bikes because I think they are still testing aeros and haven't decided on a best design yet.

The Ducs look good again and the red really does suit Sete, although I really wish he would switch to a red helmet rather than his charcoal one.

The red and yellow Fortuna Honda's are definitely growing on me, Melandri looks much better back in the Fortuna red. Must say, Elias has an awesome matte black helmet and his custom all white Alpinestars boots are really cool.

I think my favorite part of the test in any regard for me has been Kenny Roberts Sr and Jr and the KR211V. They both seem very eager to work with one another, Jr loves the motor and believes there is plenty more to come from the chassis and Sr says a first test of any machine has never gone as well as this project. Sr said a podium isn't out of the question and I have to say I don't doubt him. They've got a World Champion for a rider, the best tires available, the best motor available, one of the top teams in the series and one of the top chassis in the series all headed by a living legend. Oh... and Jr is wearing the helmet he wore for Laguna, it's trick.

Just thought I would add that in addition to the new air intake and front aeros, Suzuki are also running a brand new tail section as well as a new exhaust system. Check out the image taken from the pits, courtesy of www.crash.net.

I might stand alone, but I really have to say the camel paint is so played out and used up. I really wish someone from caml would remove the head from the bum and come up with something nicer. even reversing the colors would be at least SOME kinda change!

general, completly agreed! Like I said in the other topic-thingie on the forum, about the new bike of rossi, I like the helmet, but the bike looks the same as the old one from barros. they could do something amazing with the colours, this is a bit borring now

I much prefer that new tail section on the suzuki compared to the old stubby section.

Much better lookin and should prove more aerodynamic too.

I agree to a reversal of the camel livery would be more welcome by the Yamaha team with blue dominating the colour scheme.

Would`ve been nice to see a Camel/Yamaha speedblock scheme-got a thing about speedblocks of late!

maybe they should use the old smokin joe camel colors.
