i wouldnt get your hopes up

If Tamada can get on with the Michelins he will have a good show. I think it would be foolish to bet against Rossi wrapping up the title aboard his Yamaha on Honda turf. Hopkins seems to go quite quick around the track, the same can be said for the rest of the Bridgestone runners so look for a good show from Nakano as well. Here is my Top 10...

1. Rossi
2. Hayden
3. Gibernau
4. Tamada
5. Nakano
6. Hopkins
7. Melandri
8. Capirossi
9. Biaggi
10. Edwards

Tamada eh Kev...................hmmmmmmmm
<

As Ooost says, I wouldnt bet againt Rossi..............who would!

Its too hard to predict!.... i dunno...

1. Rossi- like i said, he didnt win here last year and wants to wrap it up so....
2. Capirossi- took a podium last time out, qualified well at motegi last year and is on bridgestones, what a safe bet! Oh! and he starts well.
3. Hopper- the kid needs and deserves his first podium, likes the track, ok so the GSVR lacks power but he has got bridgestones. If not hopper for third then Edwards as hes the man, is very hungry and was goin great last year til he was taken out in the incident.

Last season maybe top 3 for Tamada,Kev.But this year seems to have knocked him back a little-love to see him competitive again,I`m an admirer of the Japanese courage.

i know he probably won't do squat but i figured this is his best chance. i don't think he's faired to well at the rest of the tracks remaining. he better do something or he'll be back in sbks!!!

here are my real predics. 1.rossi/biaggi i think these 2 will be fighting for #1. hayden/gibernau/melandri/barros. the next group fighting for spot on the box.i think it is possible this group will be close enough to rossi/biaggi for huge battle up front. i hope...it would be great! but i think rossi will still win

at the end of the day, rossi wants to wrap up the title, he lost here last year and he and burgess have all the data from last year to iron out their faults for this year. You'd be mad to bet against him. I'd still like to see someone else win tho...

I expect the Bridgestone riders to qualify near the top. Hopkins will be one to watch as well in qualifying. Like always, the Suzuki will drift to the midpack by the halfway point but supposedly they have new parts and upgrades so hopefully not.

Hopper fastest after day 1!!!!!!!

Capirossi 2nd

KRJR 3rd

Lets hope Hopper can put it on the podium on sunday! fingers crossed !

Yes looks like a Bridgestone track!!

Rossi 1
Cap 2
Gibbers 3
Hopper 4
Nakano 5
