Family friend and 13 Time World Champion Angel Nieto was involved in an accident and is bad shape, just thought I'd share and ask for some positive vibes. Just received a call from my father who heard the news from Spain.

But I can't help to mention, I find it fascinating that the pic they chose to break this news has Valentino Rossi prominently and central in the photo. Angel Nieto's news can't possibly stand alone, it must be accompanied by a VR tribute. That's the state of the sport in every aspect, it's highjacked. Dog forbid Nieto doesn’t make it, the tributes will pour in on youtube with the tag: tribute to Rossi's friend.

Terrible news as he was doing better...but unfortunately a blood clot traveled and he passed unexpectedly. Never easy, but even harder since he was doing better. Theo said it best, rest with the angels, Angel!
