Hi everyone :)

I'm going to Phillip Island for the first time this year, taking the parents (it's their 30th Anniversary present) and just have a few quick questions as I have never been before;

Does anyone know when the paddock passes usually go on sale? Already have grand stand tickets

What pre-activities (if any) are usually occuring a few days before the race? We arrive Thursday 20/10 and dont leave until Monday 24/10

Managed to book a motel room - glad I did it early as that was a headache and a half trying to find something

If we're all lucky, your parents will see Casey Stoner win the race. Welcome.

Btw Justin Beaver? Really?

Haha in my defence - blame the radio as they are playing it non stop at the moment. I work fly in fly out on an island and only get certain radio stations. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :p

As for Casey Stoner, even if he was racing -they prefer Rossi :p

Can second this Jums.

While I am in regional NSW, there are some local radio stations that will play the 'hits' of Bieber, Adele and so on every 3 hours or so .............. where I work, if either come on the radio goes off and fast.

Mind you, there is no excuse for truly liking Bieber surely, as I believe Orlando Bloom had the right approach

Your best day at the track to see riders and photo ops is Thursday.
Get yourself inside the paddock on Thursday, you'll love it

Haha while you are right Gaz, I cant help but embarrassingly admit that I like his two newest songs :p

Thanks for the tip shovelhead - we dont land until lunch time so by the time we get to Phillip Island would probably have missed them

I missed PI for the first time in 2015. Still stings that I missed the race of the year...
Paddock Passes? I don't know if they even sell them. I think you can buy a pitwalk ticket where you can stroll down the pits while being ushered along. As for the paddock, unless you can get a team pass and access to a garage...the PI paddock is pretty dull. And not really a place you'd want to watch from. I guess the rooftop is Ok.
