Petition for Valentino's final win, join me!!!

Exactly! Of all the great motogp champions. He's the only one to win the easiest way due to lack of competition, Saturday night special, superior equipment and last but not least disrespectful intimidation of other riders. ..... in the armor started with Stoner followed by Lorenzo.

And finished for good by Marquez. Rossi finally met his match.

On a side note. He is wanting Honda to change their mind and give him the NSR500. I guess he forgot how he screwed over Honda when he fled to yamaha. I hope they give him the same answer as back in 03/04.

The Japanese has long memory.

Rossi in top ten for Q2.

We remember Rossi used to have "miracle Sundays". When he was in mid pack during Friday and Saturday and then gained miracle speed in the race day. What kind of miracle was it? Why did it suddenly stop? Was he caught and told to stop it? Did he throw the caution into wind for his last race?

He definitely owes Pecco a pint or two for that. Me thinks he'll still be starting P12. I haven't watched qualifying yet.

Is this really how Rossi fans think?

Holy ....

No so different than any fundamentalist religious sect, or Q-anon. Doubtless, some die-yards will come to races next year anticipating some sort of miraculous resurrection, The Rapture for the Yellow Custard Brigade.

Finally . . . If you forget to include Stoner, and Lorenzo.

IMO, Stoner and JLo were the preludes of what was coming for Rossi. Rossi finally met his competitions, unlike the Gibernau/Biaggi of the past. However they were clean riders and at time were bullied by Rossi on the tracks and rarely if ever returned the favor. It took a guy(MM) who is as ruthless as Rossi to end the Rossi mystique.

Lorenzo continued what Casey started, adding mental strength to the pot and beating Rossi on the same bike in the same team, enough so that Rossi ran to his ill fated Ducati stint after failing with his “get rid of Lorenzo or I leave” demand to Yamaha.
Marc added the on track steel to the mental strength and finished any thoughts Rossi had of continuing his mind games to try and destabilise his opponents.

For the record, Rossi wants all the Hondas so he owns every one of his championship winning bikes. He’s stated to the press that he wants the NSR500 at the minimum. Typically he’s using the press to try and get his own way again.
Casey has explained that HRC don’t give bikes away, this he says is especially after several important historical Hondas were sold on eBay. He also said he has his RCV from 2011 but secret parts were removed from inside the engine. Also it’s only on loan and must be returned on Casey’s death.

Meh ... if the forum survived talpa phoning our local tv station here in Aus and having them ban motogp ( because rossi was losing) ... then the forum may just survive the "end of the eath" because rossi is retiring lol.

PS .... thats a pretty ...... in the head thing to put up as a change.irg petition ... and its only got a dismal 1000 signatures after 3 months .... I expected far more fruitcakes in the world than that!! Mind you its nowhere near as dismal as some of the other pro rossi petitions.

Nup.... that's what some were saying when Rog, Jum et al, departed, and of course the forum has flourished.

Last I saw the address it is a motogp forum. I'm pretty sure we'll be good.

What are you doing when it's just gp related?

He tried that in 03/04 and it did not work. Sure don't see it making a difference this time around now that he his irrelevant .

I did not know that Casey also got and RCV. I guess he and Nicky were the smart ones to have that in their contracts.

This was said in a live interview on BT Sports as Casey was working with them this weekend. He keeps them both in a disused wine cellar in his home and says they’re gathering dust, he does admit each time he walks past them he senses the history he has with them.
As I stated, the RCV is only on long term loan until Casey’s death. I presume the Ducati is a gift and his to do with as he pleases, as he doesn’t say otherwise. I don’t know if Nicky’s bike had to go back after his sad departure, or whether it was gifted prior to Honda adopting the loan only policy.
