Paul Stoddart is looking to return to F1 in 2009

I was hoping he'd come back. IMO, F1 needs him. He was the only team boss who wasn't afraid to challenge the Max Mosley and the FIA, and he always wanted to improve things for the fans. For the sake of F1, we need him.

I always liked Stoddart. He was one of the genuine guys, not a suck up to the FIA. Respect for that!!

Whats more, I'd like to see him have a go at running for FIA president. Worryingly, it appears that Flavio is favourite for that job

While Flav might be outspoken, things like reverse grids will be the day I seriously consider giving up F1...

Yup, apparantly he's Bernie's favourite, which means he's 90% certain to get the job, as is the corrupt way of these things...

I am glad that Paul is considering F1 again and not the Indy Car's here in the US, as that would be a money loser from the get go.
