Azi tweeted that she had a chat with Paul Bird during quali and he will be fielding two CRT bikes next year. Custom built chassis already in development using an Aprilia engine. Two riders to be chosen from Ellison, Shakey Byrne, Tommy Hill and Sam Lowes
 
wonder how deep the chicken mans pockets are.

hill should hope for swan to make the step up, no need to ride a bike that will finish last every race for sure.

Was Paul Bird the one found with gear stuffed in the bikes?

Yes ....but it was more than bikes full.



The Paul Bird Racing truck was loaded.





Whatever happened with that? Nobody went to prison?



It was heaps of illicit stuff to just not hear about anymore.
 
Investigated and found innocent... a decent amount of gear, though...



18lbs (8kg) of cocaine, 157lbs (71kg) of amphetamine tablets and more than 220lbs (100kg) of cannabis, plus a handgun and 35 rounds of ammunition
 
i really believe this whole gus fring storyline is inspired by paul bird.

And all left in plain view and not hidden away,apparently it was put on there by smugglers and would have been retrieved back in the UK,surely any smuggler would have hidden it away so the team and customs didnt find it.
