Parking bikes on the racetrack

There is a great effort to create runoff areas, etc. All this is to make sure riders at high speed do not hit some standing object. Some riders do not understand slowly cruising motorcycle is just such an object and it does not belong to the racetrack. Miller was talking utter b/s today. I was thinking quite favorably of him, until now. Miller going about 50-60 km/h and others flashing by at triple of that speed. Mistakes are made all the time, slightest mistake and a rider hitting Miller could cause a fatality, and he does not understand this?!
I hope race direction wakes up and does something about this before it is too late.

Absolutely. I remember Stoner being pilloried for making exactly this point. if rather stridently, but he was completely correct.

In 1989 at Laguna I watched Lawson and Shobert high 5 and Shobert run into Kevin McGee who was parked on the racetrack to do a burnout on the cooldown lap.

It was over 30 years ago. In safety matters the organizational memory should extend at least that far back.

Once again Dorna is coming up short. It remains to be seen what they do to address this going forward.

The last 5 or so minutes of Q2 - watch the riders slow either on line or close by, and to me watch just prior to Zarco's fall
