These guys are all basically the best there is.
Just because one particular rider is your favorite doesn't mean it should be open season on the others. I agree - good thread with really good posts.
It's not often you can read a whole thread without running into a bashfest.

On a related matter.
How is it that Dani is always starting off the line like a rocket this year but Nicky isn't?
Rather strange considering Nicky's starts are usually pretty good.
Different electronics?
Pole is almost irrelevant this season because Pedrosa is going to lead into the first corner anyway.

could be a power to weight ratio advantage due to rider weight and the fact dani gets new parts daily while nicky gets bugger all. i will pay more attention to this at donny see if there any obvious difference in style or reaction time ect.

I've seen quite a few good starts from Nicky this season. Dani has been starting higher up the grid tho.

yeah, i cant say i have particularly noticed dani getting off the line better than nicky but i will make a point of looking out for it at the weekend

Nice to see dissimilar elements of the forum agreeing on something and having an appreciation for Hayden.

He's definitely getting a raw deal - last year with the Michelin issues, HRC's attitude toward him could have been dismissed as Conspiracy Theory^TM. This year, however, it's so obvious that fans from pretty much all camps are complaining about the way Hayden is being treated.

Ah c'mon man. At least when reading your post we have that in mind. Its like about 99% of the people that post on here, we know where they are coming from. Then there are those people like CURVE I really don't know who he likes

On the topic at hand. Nicky has been giving interviews they just seem odd to me. They don't even sound like the usual stuff that he says. ITs very (Ped)robotic like. The most telluing was his interview where he blindly said that his ridig style didn't suit the 800's and then he had no clue what to do. This sound like Nicky?? This season has already panned out to be a waste for him but he needs to try as hard as he can. Don't give up. I'm sure that he can get back in the game Pneumatic or not.

He started 8th and had at least a 5 bike length lead into turn one.
Flew off the line and lead easy into turn one at Catalunya too.
Nicky had some great starts last season but nothing as good this year that I can remember.
Coincidence maybe.

Really great posts guys. It's good to see Hayden not get kicked into the dirt by the forum anymore. Also it's good to see people making logical statements and not just flaming everyone. Maybe my comeback will be a bit more permanent.

Also can't wait for Nicky to leave Honda and go anywhere. Preferably Ducati but he could replace CEII at Tech 3 and I'd be happy. Just get him off the DP212.

Thanx Goat. Was it me or does that interview seem uncut from the previous interview posted?

Yeah, you can tell Nicky's has to problems, one dealing with Suzi's questions and the other trying to look and sound smooth for her. Hahaha. Funny to see when you're just looking at the body language.

the one shown on BBC TV was edited, this seems to be the full one. And judging by the look of things, he wants to be anywhere but there.

Nicky being mistreated by Honda, not exactly surprising or new. Just seems to be getting worse and worse though.
