Hello everyone,
I have followed bike and F1 racing for more years than I care to remember, but always on the TV mostly beacuse I grew up in Cornwall [miles from anything interesting]!
I don't ride bikes - perhaps the scary expereience of riding on the back of a Norton Commando driving by a rather mad older friend put me off for life!
I can, however, appriciate the skill and daring of MotoGPand Superbike riders - at least there is overtaking in bike sport [until the rather one sided 2007 MotoGP season - 2006 was a classic].
I have never understood why some people are blinkered by F1's mostly processional racing.
I think it is a sign of the times that the Autosport website to which I subscribe also covers MotoGP - a leap forward.
Sadly I am a Rossi fan: maybe if Toseland really takes off ...
One day I will go to see a live race with my son - where's the best place to start? GB?
Anyway, I am looking forward to reading and taking part in the forrums ..
Steve
