4 bike rule is implemented, how is that going to complicate the Rossi saga, or will it complicate it at all.

Banning carbon brakes was rejected, as was 1 bike per rider. And of course, rookie rule is gone

MotoGP Class

Sporting Regulations - Effective 01 January 2013:

'Rookie' riders will be permitted to be entered by a factory team.

In the MotoGP class manufacturers are restricted to two direct entries per manufacturer and may provide material for a maximum of two entries per manufacturer operated by Independent teams.

Technical Regulations - Effective Immediately:

Machines entered in the MotoGP class are restricted to using unchanged bore and stroke dimensions throughout 2012-2014.

Current dimensions must be notified to the Technical Director.

Effective 01 January 2013:

In the MotoGP class machines may use a maximum of 24 possible gear ratios and four possible ratios for the primary gear.

Other Proposals

A proposal to restrict riders in the MotoGP class to the use of one machine was rejected.

A proposal to ban the use of non ferrous materials for MotoGP class brake discs was rejected.

A proposal to mandate the use of wheels with a standard specification for strength and durability, applicable to all classes, was postponed pending further discussions between factories and wheel suppliers.

A proposal to limit the number of pointless threads a member can make. This formerly was called the Viper rule.

It has been renamed the Povol rule

New rules for 2013.

Honda. No rookie rule to apply to spanish riders

Yamaha. No engine rule to apply to spanish riders.

Ducati. Can be classed as a CRT so they can win something.

How about a pointless posts rule, just for ....... idiots like you?

If you took your own advice here you may have more time to actually put this GPz 750 Turbo back on the road rather than cluttering your house with boxes of bits.

Boost is good for the soul, i'm sure once you have it back on the road and feel the spool you will be far more content with yourself and be better tempered.

Geonerd, im new here and didnt know you have a 750 turbo,i rode the original press mule which was a very good bike and a lot quicker than the ones we got out of the crate but they were still very cool, good luck with your project buddy and id like to see some picks.

It's getting there, dude. Yea, a ride - and a respite from this ....... insane heat - will no doubt improve my view of the world.

Great idea.

We should also implement a rule limiting the number of posts a member can make that are utterly devoid of any humor.

Your rule should get rid of me and my rule will get rid of Mental, Keshav and you

Its a win win situation

What has given riders, teams and manufacturers the most problems all year-especially last weekend............the most important reg, not even being discussed by these half-wits.....those black and round hoops

Yeah, never has the racing been more about tyres since the single tyre rule

I cant wait to see it done. I love the old GPZ's. I just dug up the pic of mine that I had back in 88 or so.

My buddy had the 550, the old one, I think 83 or so. The one with the cafe racer look before they came out with the fairing.

My brother had the 750 turbo, and I had the 750. Fun bike although for an young kid a bit heavy for me. I like the 550 better for twisties but by far the turbo was the funnest to ride.

My 750 didnt last too long. She had been down a few times and a bit abused by previous owners. She spun a rod and I ended up selling for a couple hundred bucks.

Cool. U and Geonerd have something big in common, u should hook up and post pics and stories. Geo has been threatening to put it together and show up on my doorstep for Laguna. Maybe u both can come out and exchange GPz stories around the campfire.
