Next year Shinya Nakano will not be competing for Kawasaki, Harold Eckl has confirmed! Randy De Puniet however, will. Mixup of priorities there somewhere
Ah well, who do you think will replace Shinya? Biaggi is still being rumoured, can't see it happening myself. I reckon Barros or Sete.

Biaggi is in WSBK. No way out of it unless Kawi buys his contract. I don't see it happening.
Nakano is rumored to go to Konica Minolta or maybe even Gresini!
Tamada is rumored to Gresini or KM. I don't think Honda want to lose him, but MAYBE he might go to Kawi.
Sete is probably going to stay at Ducati. Barros is a wildcard, no one knows what he is going to do!

Checa is still unsigned! He can go to Kawasaki too! Then he will have ridden all bikes! Maybe even back to Ducati! Or he can stay at Tech3. I know they are keen on keeping him.

shinya did a lot of work on the kwak i hope he gets a good ride for 2007 and i hope colin edwards stays in motogp cos he is a cool bloke,rumour has it he may return to wsb. dont ya just love the silly season..

It is widely presumed that Edwards will stay as #2 in the factory Yamaha team. The rumors for WSBK were very strong at the beginning of the Silly Season. The rumors are still there but they seem to have died down quite a bit.

I think Nakano will go to Monica Minolta. He left Kawasaki, he didn't get fired. If he does end up on a Honda at alll, I think Tamada can kiss his Honda ride goodbye. I think Honda just want the fastest Japanese rider in the class, like Kato was, then Tamada before he went soft.
