so do you guys get all gay about if you own a fixie or not?

I have a fixie too...can't have too many bike Sparrows !

While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.

Beautiful. Termi cans? My brother has one in red, it's like an orgasm when that fires up.

Yessir. Full Termi kit. ECU, airbox and exhaust. Both that thing new in 2007. 25,000 miles later it's still perfect. It's been a great bike. I want something with a bit more punch now though. I'll keep the S2R since it's paid for but I'd like to add a 1299 to the stable sometime in the future. Air cooled Duc's with Termi's sound fantastic. Nothing quite like it.

Yes my dear....go faster wheels !!!

And I bet they cost like £1000 didn' they?

Droooool. Yeah my brothers S4 is a 2001 model. He was mad keen on bikes for a while then just went off them but still keeps the Duke. It;s used rarely these days but when it is, I like to be there to hear it. That clutch chatter adds to the sexyness.

I don't have a bike licence, but it;s my intention to have a Duke one day, just so i can have it to admire and maybe learn to ride well enough to go on track days just to give it a run.

Oooh Panigale? If I get a Duke it will be a sportsbike version.

.... dude - that's insane. i cringe when i have to spend $70 on jeans.[/QUOTE

It can be a stupidly expensive past time. Cheaper to buy a car or a decent motorbike. My mate has just dropped out £15,000 ($22,500 roughly) on a new bicycle

The price of that Termi kit is embarrassing. It was a fair bit over $2000 US back in 2007. You get more than just the exhaust. The ECU and airbox mod are important. You also lose some weight from the stock system. I spent another grand or so on the clutch but the bike itself was quite reasonable. The air cooled Monsters (mine is a 1000cc) were never terribly expensive. They gouge you to death on aftermarket kit if you're so inclined but the bike itself was really reasonable. My clutch makes a hell of a racket and to be honest, it's not for everyone.

Back when I lived in Daytona Beach, during bike week the Harley crowd guys would always ask me "what's wrong with your bike man?" My friends who are into Japanese bikes hate the rattle my bike makes but I've always liked it.

The new Monster's are far more capable than the bike I have. The air cooled Monster's are great city bikes but have limited range and average performance for a 1000cc bike. Good times nonetheless. I've let lots of other people ride it. Aside from the SUPER HEAVY CLUTCH, it's a really forgiving and easy riding bike.

Here in California, I think the perfect bike is a sport touring ride. I've been looking at the Multistrada but for the money, the Panigale has more appeal for me despite it's limitations. We'll see.

As for Audi, you guys get the best models in Europe. We don't get the full RS lineup in the States. The on GmbH cars we get here are the RS5, RS7 and R8. We don't get any S or RS Avants. They keep those on your side of the ocean unfortunately. Your brother's S4 should be the NA V8. Those are unfortunately gone too.

hahahah! can't tell you how many times i've hear that.

although, not gonna lie...first time i heard a duc i asked "why is it making that sound?" then i got the whole lesson & now love it.
