Good news, MV Agusta getting back into racing with Italian superbikes next year. (Bit of a slow start) I wanna see a full factory return to GP. Imagine Rossi and Caparossi on 800cc MV Agustas that hopefully would not end up like aprillia's cubes. An all-Italian dream team.

.....or are Honda and Yamaha scared of a 70's Agonisti style domination of the podium?

What do you think?

I think that MVAgusta right now is totally out of depth in MotoGP, they don´t have the technology or resources to build a succesful MotoGP bike.

Actually I think they are going to suck in WSBK, but that´s just an opinion, let´s see what are they up to by the end of the season.

With the excepton of Ducati, small factories really struggle to produce a competitive machine in WSB much less Ducati. Have a look at Foggy Petronas, loads of talent in the factory and management of the program and decent riders but they can't make the bike go fast. Aprilia doesn't race either class anymore. I see MV Augusta succoming to the same fate, I will be very surprised if they make it back to MotoGP at this point.

Even if they made a good SBK, they can´t afford a MotoGP program, the 800cc engine is going to cost millions.

Ya never know its just takes a couple of talented guys, Look at what Britten did against the factories

obviously it would be nice to have another manufacturer in the mix but i afree with teo and ooost

Yeah, thats the way racing's headed, but its a nice thought. I love MV's, thats why.
I think they'll do well in superbikes, though. Unlike the FP1, the F4's already a developed motorcycle, and its pretty damn fast too. Theyre only in the Italian chapionship at the moment anyway.

Well good luck to them anyway.

I've gotta say the MV F4 is one of my fav road bikes, from a looks point of view............very sexy indeed! Anyone rode one?

I live up the street from Fast By Ferracci they are also the North American MV distributor. I stop by there every week or so to drool over the Ducs and MV's..It gives me a nice rest during my normal road trips on my duc.

Funny you call them girls..... I always envisaged dukes as having balls. Big balls. Maybe that's an Italian thing.
