ahhh 1 of my favorite races! i love the italian gp! 1. capirossi, he's gonna do it! 2. rossi, stoner, hopkins or melandri.... i can't decide. 3rd, 4th & 5th to whoever does'nt get 2nd. the racing is gonna be close close close!
<
vermulen for the win if it rains maybe marco.
<

The Ducs are gonna be unstoppable (again). Its their home track and the straight is pretty long! I mean, Casey pulled out a 3rd on a track with almost no straights, in the wet! Mugello will be like a walk in the park.

1. Stoner
2. Capirossi
3. Rossi

I hope Rossi wins, but only cause i am fan
<

however if yamaha doesnt find the speed, i dont see anyone stoping stoner. not to be harsh either but even suzuki seem better than honda these days
<
, so go figure. For the ducatis i know they are fast but only stoner seems to find that top speed with great handling on the chicanes, capirosi hofmeister and barros are not that impresive. ok so here are my predictions if no improvements are made on any bike since last race:

1. Stoner

2. Rossi

3. Hopper

I want Rossi to win because it's his home race and because he is a Legend!, but i think Stoner will pose quite a big threat.
The Ducati's have shown that they are fast both on the fast tracks and on the tighter, twistier tracks.
So i guess we'll just have to wait and see
<

1. Stoner
2. Rossi
3. Capirossi

Stoner's Ducati will be too fast on the front strait for Rossi. The artist formerly known as "Crashey" will keep ahead of The Doctor in the turns and pull away on the front strait. Rossi will use good corner speed to beat Loris to the line for second (just barely, though).

This is going to be a huge challenge for Rossi. If he is able to win in Mugello after being spanked by the Ducatis on the straits so far this season, it will go down as one of the greatest moments of his career. I would like to see him do it; I enjoy watching racers overcome mechanical disparity.

Nicky will finish 8th. Such a fast track demands good front end feel, right? Confidence in the front has been a big problem fro him so far; therefore, unless Honda fixes it, he will have a hard time going fast. Oh well, I'll stick by my fav.

This is tough so her is my top 5.

1. MM
2. Stoner
3. Capirossi
4. Hopper
5. NH

I'm guessing the pressure is getting to VR or as stated before, another tyre issue.

Anyway, here is my "bold" predictions:

1. Hayden
2. Hopkins
3. Elias
Stoner: DNF (tire shredds and falls apart)

Rossi: DNF (tires stay in tact, but engine fails)

No major changes in championship standings.

I dont know whats funnier, Hayden winning or Elias still being on a bike at the end of a race.

Bold would be an understatement with those predictions bud!

You know Elias cant make a podium and run people off the track choosing to take a podium over stuffing other riders race up is a big call !!

1. Stoner
2. Hopkins
3. Pedrosa

If it rains then Chris Vermeulen anywhere on the podium !!

Oh, but you are mistaken my friend. Elias has solved the overtaking problem. See the above tagged thread. (He is just gonna blast his way to the front).

You too are mistaken. He already did once. Made the podium and relegated Rossi to 10th. Remember Turkey? Remember Rossi crying that Elias was "dangerous"? But this pesky overtaking thing has been solved, hes just gonna shoot people out of the way now.

1. Stoner

2. Rossi
3. Melandri

Rossi will pull everything he has out of his hat only to hear Desmo noise past his earplugs on the main straight...

Going all-out on a lim.....
ROSSI
BARROS
MELANDRI or CAPIREX

STONER crashes out in the final laps trying to hold-off ROSSI.

Especially considering the fact that Stoner has been riding so well under pressure from Rossi, it's much more complicated than Yamaha simply finding another 10mph. I'd like to see Stoner win becuase it's good for the champoinship battle but Rossi is definitely the 'underdog' going into this one. How many times has anyone ever said that about Rossi? If he wins I'll be cheering him on too.

It'll be interesting to see how Stoner copes now that he is expected to win. So far the pressure doesn't seem to have affected him. Anyway ...

1. Rossi
2. Capirossi
3. Hopkins

I'm following my heart more than my head. But as long as it is half way as good as last year, it'll be great.

Steve

The way this seasons going, its a hard call.

Stoner is going to be a hard man to beat, Rossi will be up in the mix, but the rest is anyones guess. I cant think of a season for a long time where it was so shaken up.

Capirossi should be near the front for this, and it'd be good to see Vermullin follow up his win with another result.

from the interviews i have seen stoner doesnt seem bothered at all, but he has mentioned that he is under pressure from his own team.
