Seems like there may be an agreement to return to Finland starting 2018 - Finland to join MotoGP schedule in 2018 - GPUpdate.net

MotoGP promoter Dorna has announced that it has struck an agreement for Finland to host a round of the championship from 2018.

Finland previously held a round of the championship between 1962 and 1982, firstly at Tampere before switching to Imatra.

MotoGP will return to Finland at the new 2.8-mile Kymi Ring, which is still under construction, for the 2018 campaign.

"Today's announcement that MotoGP is set for a return to Finland for the first time since 1982 reflects the global appeal and growing popularity of the MotoGP championship," read a statement.

Perhaps it should go back to Imatra...

Someone could blow up the ......... again in honour of Bazza.

Yeah, that would be cold as balls lol. But he said a 20 race season, so if the finish gp would make it 19, which race will make it 20??

They should go there in March, reinstate Kalio, give him Iannone's bike and race on 28mm spiked tyres.

Yes! Move the american GP to laguna from austin, add thailand (superbike is already there) and then the finish and boom 20 races!

I'd love to see the US race go back to Laguna. I think COTA is a garbage track with the layout. A lot of people are high on it, but the second and third sectors are complete ..... Unfortunately, and rightfully so, Laguna isn't going to pay the money to host GP. I'd rather they don't lest the circuit wind up shutting down.
