MotoGP more popular than football in Italy!

i'd like to think that it's true but i can't see it - Spain & Italy are both moto gp mad but football will always be no 1

yup ,im with you locks,i hate footy,the only matches i watch are england games so i no what my mate is talking about,funny thing is he watches motogp so he no's what im talking about except he is quite getting into it now

in my job - i've got to talk to loads of football obsessed blokes - i've been bluffing it for years - whatever the last guy said, i just say it to the next guy and so on

I'd have to go by the statistics and truth of the survey on motogp.com this time because they're usually very reliable and always come out with the truth, even though I do find it hard to imagine to be honest. Moto GP will be more popular in a lot of countries don't get me wrong, but I didn't think it would be more popular than football in Italy of all places! Like I said in my earlier post - maybe Italien football directors have lost loads of fans due to the match-fixing rubbish that went on last season in Italies Serie A league which ended up with the champions (Juventus) getting kicked out into Serie B (2nd division), got stripped of their 2 stars (which means something like 10 or 20 titles they've won) and they also got pounded with a huge heavy fine and a few of their players walked out of the club and went elsewhere. Due to these few facts i've just stated, it doesn't suprise me too much but it still comes as bit of a shock that Moto GP is more popular than football in Italy.

each star is 10 titles juventus lost some players yes but they will win B this year and head back up to A. Yes match fix problem maybe lose some fan for a bit but they will get over it. I mean its happen before
