I took it and forgot at the end to write that it is most important to me for Dorna to keep politics and virtue signaling out of MotoGP!
The American company Liberty Media does it with Formula 1 since they purchased the sport in 2016. They changed some rules which is why you now see a much greater F1 presence on social media, and things like black lives matter, #endracism t-shirts, and vaccine drives being pushed by the sport. I think Domenicali is forcing drivers to do a lot of it, and Hamilton is only making it worse. A historically European sport pushing American politics!
If Dorna does this to MotoGP I'll pull both my money and interest from the sport immediately and go to WSBK.
I have no interest in celebrity endorsements or appearances. Keep the sport of riding in MotoGP, and driving in Formula 1!

I don't understand. How are promoting awareness about ending racism and creating awareness of things to increase health and wellness, American values??? And how, not to mention - what, specifically, is Hamilton making worse? And how exactly do these things impact the quality of your viewing experience?
IMHO anyone on this site NOT following WSBK and WSSP are missing out.
Suffice it to say that people have apolitical reservations about the efficacy of the hashtag industrial complex. The industry is leveraging events like the death of George Floyd specifically because the developed world is already very much aware of the event, while ignoring issues like the genocide of the Uighurs or the slaughter of Coptics or any example of senseless, counterproductive violence between ethno-religious groups around the world.
You'll never see one of the hashtag crew wear a pride shirt in Taliban territory. They will merely beat you over the head with a rainbow flag until you or your employer or your government opens the checkbook. #FreeNorthKorea <---- have you ever seen them wear this hashtag? They can't even speak out against a nuke regime from whom no one derives profit that has a propensity to launch ICBM's at other countries.
Obviously, you've seen the world and you're aware of its misgivings. Awareness is something you're inclined to support. Imo, the hashtag industrial complex is not it. It is the modern day selling of indulgences, and it empowers a similar class of authoritarians who produce nothing and who do nothing to make the world a better place. Citizens of the West are encouraged to participate to cleanse themselves of their sins. This sacrament is not for me.
Awareness of things that save lives, and promote peace, regardless of how limited that awareness might be, is a positive thing. I don’t live in a black-and-white world, and have come to a weary acceptance of the give-and-take of political action, and its inherent imitations. I’m just generally not inclined to throwing out the baby with the bathwater. I am not trying to make a political statement here. I much prefer it when the forum is free of politics and religion. Not trying to attack anybody here. Experience has shown, it’s a safe bet that when people claim to be wholly apolitical, it is reliably because they have something to hide. As the son of parents who were lifelong political activists, it’s difficult for me at times to resist impulse to speak out when people speak in obvious code to make veiled statements that I find abhorrent.
I have no issue with the religion. I consider myself to be a devout adherent. I have an issue with the churches who are ordained by governments and global media corporations.
If people cannot criticize the organization without reprisal, humanity is headed towards centuries of prejudice and pointless suffering. Hopefully, we can avoid that outcome.
Last time I watched, it was a one horse race.
Haven't taken the survey yet, but I vote more freedom in engine development...V5 and 2 strokes.
In 2019 it started out as a bit of a one horse (same horse) race. In any event, the racing is great with more overtakes in one WSBK race than in 10 MotoGP races. SSP is, at the moment, pretty much a one horse race but again, the racing is awesome. Lorenzo Baldassarri needed a win badly and he had it...until he went a couple millimeters into the green paint on the last lap. God I hate that rule.
Wonder how many will take the survey worldwide, 10,000. 5000 maybe 20,000 or more, just don't see someone that will make a difference actually sitting down and reading the survey and taking notes, but it sounds good.
Did y'all check the give-me-feedback in the fall option? Interested to see what comes back. It is a Nielson pole so I am expecting full results and full methodology.
