MotoGP Fantasy League

Ben I think it would be easier for everyone to keep it static, I've wasted enough time already building up my team, I don't want to be doing it every week!

Kat don't worry, it's good for you.
<

Richo I don't think DePu will win, it was just an example.

How would you propose calculating value? Its gotta be pretty simple, a + - thing depnding on the previous race (would you take Pole & Qual positions too!? - tyres/teams/engines!
<

).

If someone can figure out an easy way, then I'll do it - only for the riders though otherwise my life is gonna get consumed with updating the manager!

p.s. Youll notice a link will show on your post if you have a team
<

Don't worry about it. Leave them as they are, so I can scoop up some bargains late in the season.

Come on Ben, It'll save you effort. Hell, you put so much into this site allready.
<

Teo you only say that because they're not doing so hot right now.
I wanna dump Melandri because of Honda at the moment, but how dumb would that be? Wait until the shock from Yamaha and Suzuki's preseason charge is over. Then Honda and Ducati will start getting results.

Got my team in, man that was hard 120 mil.
Ben's team looks like the 1 to beat @ 127mil with 4mil yet to spend

Whoops............that looks dodgy doesnt it!!

Honest mistake, I created that team during the testing phase of the program, I then revised all the pricing (with Ooost) and I just forgot to re-create my team...........honest guv!

Thanks for spotting it, my name would have been mud otherwise

Go 77!!!!!!!!!!!

See how he fairs in the first few races

I should have waited until the Jerez IRTA is over, I would have had more information to make the correct choices. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with my team, I still think I'm gonna win, but it's not perfect ... and it could have been.

Gotta think with your head and not your heart. The way I see it having a highly paid rider is a gamble at the early stages so Nicky's 37 or 39 mil or whatever he is worth didn't seem feisable. I picked up a bargain with Hopkins at 28 million and all bias aside I think he might be a consistent top 10 guy and close to top 5 with the new 75 degree V4 GSV-R. Elias is more of a gamble, it just came to me one day in class. He's Marco Melandri waiting to happen. I figure even though he hasn't shown much in testing thus far, every rider who goes through Gresini's program becomes a stud. Why should Elias be any different? So picking him up at 32 mil should be well rewarded if my faith in him bears fruit.

i cant decide if im happy or not!! wish i had Michelins now tho over dunlops.. ...... 10% crappy charge Ben lol
