Moto GP dot com subscription

Forget BBC, I'm happy just to have Eurosport! Its good enough for me, I get qualifying and race, plus a repeat of the MotoGP race a day after!

i don't know how anybody even has the patience to look at that site for more than 2 seconds. i can't even stomach the front page let alone try to dig around and sign up for things and watch them on that site.

so many better feeds available on the web for free.

I would really like to know about those "other" sites since as far as anywhere else all I can find is racing-underground.com for torrents. Also there is nowhere else where I can get live coverage or new videos of testing immediately as they happen, care to enlighten me.....I think not.

Edit: I have spent a small fortune on that website this year....probably like 250 bucks or something....

Do not buy the premium package.. Run as fast as you can away. I have had the premium package for a couple of years now and I echo exactly what everyone is talking about..

At least 2 races a season is lost because you can't log on. No customer service, no credit nothing. The high res option is just another example. Until a year or so there was only two option. Low band and High band width. The High band picture quality was great... Now the old high band with is the new medium band with and the picture quality is suspect.

MOTOGP.COM = Greedy #utt-holes in search of squeezing all of the money they can get out of it's subscribers.

I guess I phrased it wrong.
The package I am thinking about getting next year is the one with the high resolution.
I don't know if my 10 Mbps speed is enough to accomodate that feed.
If it is is it worth getting the high res package.

Yeah 10 mb is enough for the hi res, the feed is a lot better for watching the motogp race.

I tried the high-res package for the last two races. Utter .....

I can download at 5Mbps and the feed is 1Mbps but it was still stopping and cutting out. Even when I tried to download it the day after the race, it would cut out. Also, the audio is terrible for some reason. Dont bother.

I also second everything that has been said about motogp.com so far. If I could only get my hands on them!

As mentioned before Just DL TVU player, race day is normally shown on Star Sports most of the time. Its free but not on every time, here in Asia the Valencia race was shown on ESPN instead for some reason.

Apart from qualifying i normally watch the race in a bar.

Would anyone here be bothered to find out who is who in what is offered at MotoGP.com. Who are actually responsible for the video feeds. If it is based in EU we might be able to shake the cage a little through EU consumer rights. they are not as good as here in Norway but slowly getting better. Might be worth a try?

It's all about Bit Torrent. You need a Torrent Client - I use Azureus which is free, but the latest GUI is a bit confusing so I recommend v2.4.0.2 which you can get from oldversions.com http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=Azureus

The in-depth user guide on wiki works for v2.4.0.2 and should tell you all the rest you need to know.

Happy torrenting. Oh, and don't forget to put a HUGE hard drive on your Xmas list. You won't believe how fast your current one will fill up

truth. two of the very first torrents you should download are DivxtoDVD, and 1Click DVD Copy 5. that way, you just download, convert, burn, and delete the files

There is one other Motorsport torrent site as well.

Will pm details if anyone wants it.

BTW I use Utorrent for my client program.

There are several. Just use Google. You may not be one of the many that faints when links to R-U or similar are put up on the forum. If not, I apologise.

But I am getting fed up up people who constantly post that we should not be providing links to sites which can be found by simply Googling "racing + torrent". If they wanted to be secret I'm sure that Google would not pick them up with such a simple search. Especially as "Those who wish to spoil our fun" have most likely heard of Google by now.

To those whom this rant applies - think before you post.

Good point about google. It's just they say your account can be deleted if site is linked so I'm playing it safe.

British Eurosport is the best to watch MotoGP not .... BBC 2 (which only feeds the 800's boring gits
<
)

I am a motogp.com user and it is worth the money because you get to see behind the sences stuff which is cool.
