Hey guys! I'm a new addition to the forum, but I really wanted to share an event with all of you. After looking over a number of the posts on here, it looks like there are a good number of you that are planning on attending the MotoGP event at Laguna Seca.


 


Well, if you are in the area on the 19th, I highly reccomend you browse over these flyers! 


 


I've been working on this event for the past few months and thought it'd be a great idea to spread the news with all of you.


 





 





 


 
<div style="margin-left:0px;Aside from the excitement of the dyno, there will also be great specials on Mobil 1 motorcycle oils, as well as chances to win MotoGP tickets, Mobil 1 prizes, and other exclusive giveaways. These giveaways and the Dyno runs are offered at a first come, first serve basis- so make sure you get there early.

I'll begin to consider paying $9 a quart when Mobil cuts the marketing crap and tells me what's actually in the bottle.  :secret:

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm not here to attempt to persuade you on which oil manufacturer is the best, or why you should choose Mobil 1 motorcycle oils. 


 


Just thought that some of the members on the forum would enjoy hearing about this unique competition. If you feel differently, I apologize.

Kyle, gotta give you credit for that.  I figured you were just another hit-and-run spammer. 


 


Care to address the issues of Mobil's (and mother other oil manufacturers) refusal to disclose exactly what it is they are selling?  You want to sell me oil at ~$10 a quart?  Show me specifically why M1 will be so much better for my bike than something like Delvac or Rotella (both popular MC oils) that sell for 1/4 the price.  No, you can't hide behind the "It's proprietary" nonsense either.  Any serious competitor has a lab full of expensive equipment and PhDs who can reverse engineer your product anytime they like.  Saying "It's proprietary" simply offers a handy excuse to BS your customers.

I like Mobil 1. Geo, i just figured there is oil in the can. Then again i like big macs and never really know or care whats in them cuz they taste good. I'll stop by and get a couple of qts. I wont be taking my bike this year, but I'll put my F150 up there to dyno.

Awesome! You should definitely consider bringing out the bike though. In all honesty, the bike may offer a more "parking friendly" experience. Just depends on how many riders come out. If you need anything, or have any questions before you head to the event, feel free to shoot me a text or give me a call. I'll PM you my number.

<p style="font-size:12px;font-family:Helvetica;I've spoken with a few participants over the phone that think they've got what it takes to lay down some intense numbers.

<p style="font-size:12px;font-family:Helvetica;We plan on having a good amount of bikes come out and compete, so if you want to try your luck at the $1,000 cash prize(s), I would get there on time. We'll be doing dyno runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., but we have to account for how long it'll take to swap out the bikes between runs.
