"People have asked me how I thought he was going to go this year -- I been asked that a lot the past few months once they started testing and his name started popping up at the top of the timesheets. And I've said he's going to win the world championship with two rounds to spare. They all look at me like I'm full of crap and there's no chance, but we'll see…"

Spies may win the championship if Nitro Haga is injured or something. I think the championship is between these two guys and to be decided in the last race. Haga knew all of the circuits and no surprise to me at all if he claims the WSBK title this year.

I really want to see Haga finally win the SBK title, but I would also like to see Spies do it in his rookie year.

I love Haga..he's one of my fave riders...but he just go schooled at Phillip Island...he's done.. He'll have to fight for 2nd place this year

I think Mladin was kind of serious and at the same time trying to validate himself. If Spies does win, it will make him look that much better.I do believe if he had choose to go,he would have gotten a title or two.

Haga loves Monza, Assen, Kyalami, and Brno. His best circuit, Brands, has gone, but as we know he's quick anywhere when his heads in the right place - but an erratic qualifier. I don't think any of this has any bearing on Spies who could well do the business everywhere. He certainly won't be intimidated by Haga, while Nori's inconsistency will counter his familiarity with the circuits. Spies for the title.

All that matters is where he dies.

Davy Crockett is a Texan.

Watch it now,if wernt for The Volunteer state of Tennessee, you might still be part of Mexico. You do know how we got our name dont you

The Mexican–American War was an armed conflict between the United States and Mexico from 1846 to 1848 in the wake of the 1845 U.S. annexation of Texas. Mexico claimed ownership of Texas as a breakaway province and refused to recognize the secession and subsequent military victory by Texas in 1836.

In the U.S. the conflict is often referred to simply as the Mexican War and infrequently as the U.S.–Mexican War. In Mexico, terms for it include Intervención Norteamericana en México (North American intervention in Mexico), Invasión Estadounidense de México (American[a] Invasion of Mexico), and Guerra del 47 (The War of '47).

The most important consequences of the war for the United States were the Mexican terms of surrender under the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, in which the Mexican territories of Alta California and Santa Fe de Nuevo México were ceded to the United States. In Mexico, the enormous loss of territory following the war encouraged its government to enact policies to colonize its remaining northern territories as a hedge against further losses. In addition the Rio Grande became the boundary between Texas and Mexico, and Mexico never again claimed ownership of Texas.

n 1846 the United States went to war with Mexico as a result of a boundary dispute fueled by an American expansionist desire to control the entire North American continent. With an army of fewer than 9,000, a number wholly inadequate to wage war in a foreign country, officials in Washington issued a call for volunteers. When Secretary of War William Marcy requested 2,800 recruits from Tennessee to fill two regiments of infantry and one of cavalry, 30,000 Tennesseans offered their services, thus preserving the reputation of the "Volunteer State." We got that name earlier for the same reason in the Battle of New Orleans. We will volunteer to kick somebodies ....
