I can see them naming a building,a corner,a grandstand, a port o potty but not a whole circuit. He is just a footnote on motogp history. He is not a legend.

Why can't it be both? I'm not ruling out a bit of 'Senna syndrome', but i think you obviously have underestimated how many people valued Marco

In Barcelona, the pro futbol team Espanol lost their captain to a sudden heart attack and there was talk of naming the new stadium after him. At first it seemed as thought the name was taking hold, but as a few months passed I think they named a stadium entrance with that bears his number after him. More similar to having a corner named after a racer I guess.

How frequently do you visit Rimini? Because I would have to believe only someone who frequents the area could comment on just how much Marco meant to the region.



Everyone has different levels of emotion and each chooses to express those emotions in their own way. Just because you don't give a .... doesn't mean no one else should nor does it entitle you to be an ........
