philanthropic ventures i.e using your wealth for the good of mankind is all about helping people stand on their own 2 feet like all charity's set out to do. That in turn is bound to open new markets in the future because these people are standing on their own 2 feet. Doesn't mean the philanthropist's doing it to gain more personal wealth though does it.Thats just a by product. Your arrogance stops you seeing the obvious mate.
