HMMMM
Dominating bike
Cutthroat business practices.
Ducati has taken those 2 pages out of Hondas "how to" manual

No Roge it might be that Vermeulen will do the same to Capi what Casey did to him at Ducati....

It going to be really sad to watch actually since he'll probably be running in 13 or 14 on the regular basis...it will be him and Hayden fighting for the 13 spot race in and race out...really sad to watch...

Its gonna be really interesting to see what the zook can do in the hands of a proven race winner. Nothing against Hopper and Verm, its just interesting to see a saesoned vet could do to help the development of the bike. Maybe he can give them some Ducati secrets.

Yeah like, support the young Aussie and the results get better! I'm sure they'll learn that themself sooner or later.

Hes stealing a seat off a talent rider and hes greedy to want to even ride to 2009!

I wouldn't be saying that if he had managed to win the top class championship just even once!

don't worry Rog..Melandri will be handing Stoner his ... next year.

I am very disappointed in Ducati...He did quite a lot for that team and the old bike.

It's a business, with no room for sentiment. I'm sure Ducati wish it could be different, but they really want to win championship.

CURVE... Don’t close the door after the horse has bolted...It could be completely to the contrary just like it was between Casey and Loris, who would have thought that the difference between them would be so great in 2007! Melandri is a great rider with allot of experience and gusto, I’m sure that Marco will want to prove lot’s in 2008 but so will our little champ Casey!!!...It will be a very interesting contest and as I have said in a previous post “May the best man win”...and if Marco beats Casey then I will be the first to give him his greatest praise!!!...I will be a very interesting contest...as long as it stays fair and Ducati doesn’t favour one or the other!!!

At last! Some sense

I agree CSCVAW, If Melandri is able to take it to Stoner next year and Stoner is riding with similar form to what he has right now, then all power to Marco.. i to forsee an intriguing in house battle for 08 and im sure it will be like that for many of the teams.. (Hopper vs DeP/West, Capirossi vs Vermy, Toseland vs Lorenzo/Edwards, Rossi vs Lorenzo/Edwards, Dovi vs Elias? West vs Barros?) The possibilities really are mouth-watering! Cant wait!

I agree ... I think next year is really shaping up to be a particularly strong year for teammates battling each other if some of the combinations turn out to be correct!

Going to be a particularly good year for the Aussies...what with Stoner being 2007 world champ, battling CV to be the 2008 champion and Westy picking up the odd race win......can't wait!!!

i think this season is a casey season and im not sure marco will have the consistency to take the fight to him through out the whole season to be a real threat, i hope im wrong because i like marco.
other than casey this season is a bit of an anti climax because the 800's are new and the new tyre rules but next year will be a lot closer i recon, teams will no where they stand and have real data to work from, im looking forward to it already.

Thats actually likely to happen,as CV is `at one` with his bike.

They`re both V4`s,could have something there.
