Your Mom's House
Well, last year we had 30+ people on site. This year, maybe 4 (Me, CK, CK's GF, and a buddy from FL). For what ever reason, its a lean year, everybody seems to be busy, tapped out, having kids, getting married, broke, or 7000 miles away. Well at least Michaelm threatens to be the only overseas visitor. I see Shovelhead is selling his tix. Basspete has twice broken my heart. LilRed, throw caution to the wind buddy. So anybody gonna threaten to meet up at the track with me? Sackwack? Nuts? Anybody from Powerslide? Hey Barry, I'll pay for your 3 day pass and paddock if you can sneak onto the storage bin on michaelm's flight. I hear they sometimes put livestock down there, which may sweeten the deal for you.

This year I got a great camping spot. Turn 5, along the fence going up the hill toward the bridge. You can see the RVs in the background. I'll try to get a banner up that says "Yacht Licensing Center, apply here."

I wish I could Man,

I've come back from Sachsenring to find I may be unemployed very shortly.

Very worrying time ahead for me, WSBK is also in danger of not been a weekend thing and just saturday and sunday.

Hell or high water I will be there though

LOL, Barry can join the Mile High Club!

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the strange noises you are hearing are coming from the cargo bay. The aircraft is flying normally, with no sign of any technical problems. We are investigating, and urge you to remain calm."

Jum, are you doing the standard Thursday drive up to 'Guna? You still at street address 1xx7 in Covina, Ph # ends in 7xx0?

Got room on the Happy Bus for one more?

After promising for 2~3 years in a row, I hate to say anything, but I'm out of work and do have the time. Money's a bit tight, so the full-chat pit pass, etc. will not happen. Got a reunion in Wyoming first week of August and wouldn't mind a big looping road trip.

The reason I am not going to Laguna is because....Motogp sucks this year.

6 factory teams, which only 4 bikes are competitive but only 3 riders are.

6 satellite teams, which will never win

and the rest of the CRT's which gets lapped, all fighting for the same thing.

B O R I N G

I am going to Indy to enjoy Moto 2/3, Motogp will only be a sideshow.

Shov, Ouch, but ur right, MotoGP is im a bad state, and with the exit of two of its greatest riders, its only getting worse.

But i'll be there as its looking like my last opportunity to see Nicky Hayden grace the track, albeit, on a glorified DuCRT.

Geo, always room for anybody. Driving up Thursday noon. I tell u what, i know a guy selling his 3 day gen admission pass for 75 bucks (i think theyre 100 at the gate, last year they were 90). U pay for the general admission, i will pay for ur paddock pass. Here is an even better reason to go, this will be the last time u see Stoner and possible Hayden at this sacred ground. (check PMs)

Good news, got a text from Clarky today. Hes gonna try and make it out. Last three years hes said that, hes texted my at 11th hour, 'pick me up, im at the airport.'

Laguna.......I wish

Even I can't pull off three trips to the US in 12 months to watch bike racing.

Wish I could get out there. Got the cash - but health issues and family stuff have me here just holding down the fort.

i'm with Rog, if lotto hits i'm in... i'm elbows deep in referbing a property.. my pockets are hurting.. sux

Alright, everyone pony up a Dollar / Pound / Euro / whatever....

Play the lottery this week

If you win, you pay for air fare and tickets for any PS member who want to go. Then you can pocket anything that's left.

If I Had the cash Id have no problem paying for all you .......s to come over and keep me company. I usually only pay for female company, but i had such a good time last year that it would be worth every penny

So are you gonna make it over to Laguna Geo?

Planning on it!

Got a friend up in Grover City Beach interested in tagging along as well. If thy Mighty Vee-Ten can take 166, instead of 46, maybe you could pick us up there? I'll call you soon, after I talk with him again.

You got Sack Wack's street address? We need to stop by Paso Noplace and do a proper intervention on his ....

I'm headed for Yosemite and then Yellowstone after the race and would be happy to chauffeur any PS folks to see these magnificent places. (If you like camping and light hiking, and can tolerate a photo nerd dragging you out of bed at 5 am so we can go see the sunrise over the mountains, etc.)

Sack Wacks claim to fame, living in Lagunas back lawn and never having the decency of making it out to a race.

On my way to work this morning, my local NPR affiliate did a piece on Ex-pat Brits living in LA. Turns out we have a quarter of a million Brits living here just in LA county. Jesus thats a lot of peeps i've never seen. Anyway, theyre doing a piece cuz Union Jacks are popping up for the Olympic opening ceremonies. So they interviewed a few local Brits. Funny ...., almost all to a man said they came here fir the weather. Also said they were escaping the 'doom & gloom' of the UK. There is a meeting once a month where they all get together for drinks at a pub called "the village .....". Im gonna find out where it is and show up with a St Georgie Cross flag caped around my back. Im sure they'll think im Indian. Anyway, 250,000 ....... Brits in my hometown and all i care about is traveling the 7000miles to see the only ones i care about. Haha.
