I cant go to Laguna?
So i know i've been a bit of a ghost for a while.. but for the past couple years ive refused the mouse maze like cubical life of an office space so i wasnt tied to a PC all day like in the past........ ive been up to .....
So for the past few months ive been really looking forward to this Guna trip.. its the beginning of another move for me.. see yall in Austin 2013
But a couple days ago one of the techs at the shop im wrenching at decided hes leaving.. Well Boss told me how important is my trip to Cali... i said, well ive had flight and tickets booked for weeks so yeah its gonna happen, i fly out Wednesday, I can work through to Tuesday if you need...
long story short i got put in a position where i was made to feel that i had to choose between GP Cali or have a Job.. it was kinda left like that with "that look" and whatever dude thats ........ attitude from the both of us... I was ....... burning to strike this ............ with the first wrench within my reach..........exhaled....
...I walked away...
Today was payday... 4:55pm Boss walked out of his office said "hey wheres your tool box?" ...i said " in my truck on the way to Cali with me, peace " ...... http://www.powerslide.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/.....gif

Been looking iffy these last few weeks. I buy stuff for my biz from India and before it can enter into the States it has to have a certificate of FUMIGATION. I get around this by shipping giant heavy-duty contractor bags to India into which every piece of merchandise is double-wrapped and sealed air-tight. Everyone at the factory knows me and know this must be done, but the one ....... who is responsible for doing - didn't. When the stuff arrived and the crates were opened at my place we were greeted with clouds of Methyl Bromide - which is deadly ...., a nerve toxin that is illegal in most civilized countries (manufactured in ....... Australia). Between opening the crates and re-transporting everything to air out at another warehouse - at huge expense, I was exposed to huge ....... doses of the the .... and have been suffering with splitting headaches, soaring high blood pressure, pins and needles up and down my arms, sleeplessness and panic attacks. Big fun. Another reminder that when it comes to important details, bloody Indians will screw it up every time.
Been going to the local sauna joint and trying to sweat out the poisons and been in the hospital and on some less than fabulous meds - and thinking there's no way I'm gonna feel human enough for Laguna - but I'm starting come 'round. Looks like I'll be there. No way I'm gonna miss it two years in a row. See you soon you happy .......s.

Friggin' customs guys are robots or they're all brain dead from breathing this ..... I don't know which.
Far's rum's concerned I'm on still on painkillers for the migraines from the poisoning, which unless yer name's Hunter Thompson, not a good mix, unless you're wanting to experience what the locals here on the Lower East Side refer to as "The Morning Dew."
