Any word if they will be adding the 125's and 250's to the event at Laguna? Why is it Laguna has never had the 125's and 250's? I'm glad they are bringing those classes to Indy this year, but why has Laguna always been left out. It can't be cost as they travel the world with the GP as it is. Seems odd that it's the only race where they do this. On a similar note they left out the Supersport from the WSBK race at Miller, I hope the add it in next year.

Yeah I think that thats the problem. AMA races there that weekend as well. There is only so much room.

And yes, if Spies leaves next year, AMA Superbikes is in some real trouble. You think that Hacking is going to carry the sport haha and how many more years does Maladin have? Its going to be very interesting to see what happens.

Zinger. Gotta love those two.

As far as 125s and 250s at Laguna, it won't happen until the event is separated from AMA/DMG weekends. It's been that way since GPs left Laguna in '94 (someone check that stat). American fans would rather watch the AMA rather than World Supersport or 125s or 250s. They're too small for this V8 culture and there are and haven't been Americans riding in those series for ages (save Steve Bonsey in the last couple of years). It's a miracle that the Indy GP wasn't combined with an AMA/DMG event and 125s and 250s will be making the trip.

Speaking of children, anyone see Marquez, the kid that got 3rd in the 125's. Looked like his permanent teeth were still coming in, holy cow that kid is a runt. I'm surprised the wind didn't blow him off the bike at Donny. Are they purposefully hand selecting diminutive riders to bring thru the ranks (for weight advantage)? I laughed when they didn't give him and Redding a bottle for the podium celebration.

Yeah it's totally overrated. It has the screw and weather and that's it. The rest of the place is a dump.
