Krop reporting Indy may be back on the calendar

That sucks.

As I have stated, it's a terrible track for anything other than the 500.

I can't believe the Hulman family wants to keep going with this .... show.

That said, if they go back there, I may make the trek in 2016.

Would rather they stay at the Brno instead of ....... taxpayers out of money in Indiana.

LOL. I already did. I realize it is a long shot.. Maybe the longest shot of them all, but I figured a room can always be canceled. Better to have and not need, then to need and not have.

Indy is an event city, they have more than enough hotel rooms to where you will never find it hard to get a room at a MotoGP event.

I prefer to stay down on centre circle, and those can be hard to find.

Hampton Inn downtown my fav. Walking distance to quite a few bars. (Beaver Bar!)

True, we always get something 10-15 minutes away from the track. You can normally get a nice room for 129 a night and split it with a bud. As far as them raising prices, i wouldnt care to go 100 bucks instead of 79, it ridiculously cheap as it is and a 100 would still be cheap. The track is not idea, but much better than when it started and the event itself is second to none. Very fun weekend.

Best organized sports event I've ever been to. ...... track but ....... professional execution. Indy knows how to put on a great weekend. I'm happy for the venue and the city if it continues.

They could make Indy a very good track if they would simply put some elevation into the infield section. Make a signature section of the track and give it a name like rollar coaster or some .... like that

The cost involved to try and create elevation on the infield would be ridiculous since you'd have to essentially rebuild the entire infield. I don't see IMS doing that given the cost involved. Tony George blew through an ungodly amount of money during his Reign of Terror, they're never going back to that kind of spending.

There are some nice elevation in the golf course no one is using!! [emoji51]
