Jezzer hurt in MotoGP crash

Ulsterman Jeremy McWilliams suffered multiple injuries in a crash during the MotoGP final test at Jerez.

The 42 YO was taken to hospital after fracturing the femur in his left leg and his collarbone.

Jeezer who was riding the 800cc Ilmor also suffered injuries to the fingers in his left hand.

Official sources advise that he is expected to undergo surgery next week before the new season starts.

Hmmm is this why Chaz Davies is testing at present?

man 42yrs old. it's abit of a slower recovery at this age. but he's a tough nut.

I saw Jeezers Dad out in Belfast today, If I'd known about the crash then I'd have asked him about it. Damn.

News is in that the operation to his femur went well and as scheduled should be undergoing light training in January.

That sucks, and I was starting to like the guy.....(see other post for details)

Anyway, I hope the guy gets well soon. 42 is really not that old. Now if you were 42 and fat & ugly like roger, then that would be more of a problem.

All joking aside, I really do hope the guy gets better. All racer deserve speedy recovers since they put themselves on the line for our enjoyment.

jezzer will be out and about before you no it, he is as tough as old boot leather.
