This is had better be bunk. The man is such a jerk, and he's only moderately fast. Cripes, he had to switch teams this year to get near a superbike, there's no way he belongs in Moto GP.

How could Kawasaki run a third bike when they don't even have a sponsor.

Sounds like he is referring to Jason Pridmore and Aaron Yates. I feel I have to defend those decisions since both guys are friends. Jason was place on the team because he knows how to develop a program. He also knows how to develop talent. Look at Blake Young, Danny Eslick (well two years ago anyway), Ben Thompson, and Cory West.

Aaron Yates is still a very solid rider. He did much better than Tommy Hayden did this year (who was hired to replace him).


Now to comment on the Hacking situation.

This is total ........! Jamie and Kawi are in a bit or a rift right now. Hacking is pushing for more money to develop the superbike and Kawi is not giving it to them. He is also trying to get Kawi to pressure Dunlop to get the same spec tires as Mladin and Spies and Kawi is refusing to enter into any kind of contract.

Not to mention that Hacking is an ... clown. He is unsafe and a .... to race with. He makes ....... moves and never holds his line.

I'm not defending Tommy here because I felt this year was a failure for him but Aaron has been riding a Gixxer for years.

Your favorite rider list I find puzzling.
Haga I get but the other two are perennial just off the podium riders.
I didn't follow Hodgson's career much and I know he won WSBK when it
was the Ducati cup but that guy never seems to shut his mouth about
how he is as good as Mladin if he had the right equipment.
He needs to win or compete in America before he runs his hole.
I used to like Yates but I got sick of seeing him punt riders off the track.
He's aggressive but at the sake of others.

They need to look no further than what DuHamel did when he got the Gresini ride at Laguna.
DuHamel is just as competitive at AMA superbike as is Hacking and that
ride blew up in their faces.
Besides it would make more sense to give it to Roger Lee again.
He's shown to be a loyal Kawi guy.
He had a good outing at Laguna already and the Indy race is in his backyard.
If anything it would be a great PR move with 2 Haydens in that race
that close to their home.

The reason I like Yates and Hodgson has little to do with their ridding ability. Yates is a great guy. He genuinly loves racing bikes and it shows. He loves everything about it and does not hesitate to pick up a tool and help out the boys in the pit. Neil is a great guy to talk with. There is no arogance about him among riders. He is just a cool ... dude.

A note about him being on bad equipment. A little known secret in the AMA is that everyone except Mladin and Spies are on inferior equipment. I am specificaly talking about tires. In the AMA your fate is controlled exclusively by Dunlop. If they want you to do well, then you will get good rubber and Q tires. If they do not care then you will get ..... Neil has been getting .... and you can not tell me that the Ducati he was on has anything near the Suzuki. Why do you think that a Perelli shod non-factory bike will beat out factory teams in other classes every race. Perelli is helping them out where as Dunlop is not helping out the competition. Its obvious if you have been on track with those guys. Mladin and spies can carry a ton more trail break into the corner and can open the throttle quicker without the tire spinning up or even upsetting the suspension. Its not down to rider talent either. It is a matter of physics.

Back to Hacking. The dude is a .... wad and his wife sucks too. He should leave her ... at home and let her watch his attitude problem while he leaves to go race.

Yes, Yamaha was not going to give him a superbike ride. That is why he left. But the question you are not asking is Why would Yamaha not give Hacking a superbike? Its not because of his results in the support classes. Its because of his ego. Yamaha were tired of him thinking he was the ..... Look at how he treats the young guys that are coming up with talent. He punted Eslick at VIR while Eslick was on the factory machine, he damn near punted Herrin in the corckscrew at Laguna. The guy gets threatened easily and responds by being an ....

that he talks so much.
I understand the Duc wasn't about to beat the Suzuki's just like all the
other manufacturers wern't going to either and their riders didn't
talk as much crap.
I don't agree about Pirelli beating Dunlop in the other classes.
Sure they are competitive but Daytona is the only track where they won and more than likely it was because of the Honda fuel issue.

on who just did Playboy and Maxim. She talked a lot about how she

You over look the fact that just becuase Perelli team M4 EMGO is not winning races does not mean that they are not beating factory teams week in and week out.

Hodgson came to the states not understanding how politics work in the AMA paddock. He came from Europe where people loved him and when he needed something all he needed to do was mention it in the press and someone would respond. No one talks about Dunlop in the states because they know that they would be digging their own grave. The bottom line is that no one is going to beat the suzukis of Mladin and Spies untill one or the other or both leave in which Yosh will have two more dominant riders because of the support from Japan and from Dunlop. Hodgson will beat Duhamel next year but will probably not touch Mladin or Spies.

Roger Lee is still recovering from injury. He's been out of action too long, putting him on a motogp would probably be a disaster...if he even would attempt it.

Hacking...hate him or not, he's the only one who can even come close to running with the yosh duo. He even beat mladin straightup at Miller. So I think that's why he was chosen over Davies.

Good going Ben. Can I ask, since your prediction happened before RLH got injured are we to understand that Jamie was lined up for the 3rd bike over Roger?
