James Ellison rocks

42 I believe yeah.

Hodgson don't forget, but he can only hack the superbikes, he'll never be anything big in Moto GP. As is the story with almost every Brit with 'potential'. Foggy never even came to Moto GP, but if he did, he's be destroyed by the Rossi's and Biaggi's.

Let's face it, Britain sucks for biking

James HAS a future MotoGP he has been there since Brno 04 where as Cardoso only lasts 1 year at the most do please dont diss James Ellison

I respect him, i respect all of them, but he's not included in the future for Moto GP. He's never gonna be a podium guy though.

No, but i'm pretty damn sure, just because you like him doesn't mean he's amazing. Checa sucks at the moment and he's my favourite by a mile.

yeah i remember pole to about 12th hahaha shame cus he done them on the corners big time but remember cing biaggi flying past him on the straight and putting 100 yards on him..

foggy did ride gp,, cagiva at donington he was cuming home 3rd but had trouble near the end last lap and neil mackensie got 3rd... r yeah dont forget maca, he got sum top tens didnt he?

Actually Cardoso has been around a long time (not really deserving that honour), I remeber him on the D'Antin Yamaha YZF 500cc.

Ellison has been MUCH slower than Checa in EVERY race so far, so basically unless Dorna backs him to have a Brit in MotoGP no decent team is going to pick him. I don't have anything against the guy, it's just plain numbers, MotoGP is a cruel world.

I like what Ooost said about this: "Foggy never went to GP because he was .... scared of Doohan"

But like you said, he`s over 40 now. Besides, isn`t he Irish? You can`t really claim him as in that case.... Then again, it never stopped the poms before, did it?

Yeah, true. But I got a feeling Dorna will do a lot to keep a brit in the series. Its a big fan base for them there. I really think Bratain is in a GP rider drought at the moment. I mean, the last pom to win a 500 has passed away it`s been that long. Hopefully a few hot rookies will come up soon.

J McWilliams is Northern Irish, so he is british.

It's common knowledge that Brit's spend a while in GP before going to BSB or WB where they will enjoy some good results, and maybe even wins and titles.

Like teomalca said, moto GP is a cruel world, and is for the elite, which Britain doesn't get.

And the poms stole Northern Ireland too.

Ok fair enough, you guys can claim Jezza, but like we`ve said, he`s past his prime. You`re probably better off claiming the English half of Hopper right now

Half of Hopper`s 58 points gives you 27, which is almost twice as many as Ellison has to his name. I know which one I`d be choosing.

While we`re at it, us Aussies can claim the Aussie half of Edwards (That`s the half that won the SBK championships and gets the GP podiums)
