Wow how good was that? The Hutchy and Dunlop show. A shame they got a bit petty with each other at the end though.

Sorry Ant but if I was Hutchy I'd be a bit pissed too. To be told after the first superbike race that RD thinks your pistons or stroke might not be to regulations so you run a stock engine in the blue ribbon race only to be told after, actually your superbike engine was ok.
Yeah I'd be well pissed!

Not disagreeing with your statement buddy, but Hutchy said in an interview after the race that he ran the superstock motor because he felt the superbike motor was too harsh and lurched a lot. He felt the stocker was fast enough and gelled with his smooth riding style.
It was the 600 race where he was accused of having oversized pistons, the scrutineer responsible of starting the rumour has since apologised and said there was nothing illegal about the motor and that no competitor or team made a protest so Hutchy has apologised to MD Racing after accusing them of making the protest.
Hutchy did claim however that BMW gave Dunlop a better engine, Dunlop says his is exactly the same as the one in Hutchy's BMW.
