i'm pleased andrew pitt has got a moto gp ride
would have liked him to get his arse on a competitive bike but who knows - it might be ?

Really? They signed a 41 year old..... over Gary McCoy? I don't care how good he was, Schwantz and Doohan were also good, was is the important word. I think 41 is just a bit old to be racing MotoGP bikes.
Jezzer is 42..
But in his own words "We have a very good product to work with but there is a lot of developing that needs to be done"..
Development rider is written all over Jezzer, maybe McCoy had a change of heart or fancied a better ride elsewhere.

The only reason you would sign Jezza to ride for you is for development.

i think thats all ilmor as a team are looking for this season.
but if you put jezzer on a fast bike he is more than capable of getting up the sharp end. dont write him off yet.

i said "if" and i didn't say ilmor was a fast bike,no way of telling that yet. but a lot of people seem to think jezzer is slow and only a development rider. wonder how fast he could be on a factory honda or yamaha. guess we will never no for sure but if you look at his previous on crap bikes my gut feeling says he would be right up there.
