Ilmor confirms

I heard a few comments this weekend that some riders think it will be easier to ride than the current bikes which is different from what I've heard previously, so will have to wait and see. Any one heard anything on what it like to ride?

BTW Yama, just wondering who your avatar is of?
i think the rule is at the moment a max cc of 990,so riding an 800 is perfectly legal. its will be great to see mcoy back and very good news for our sport to see more manufactures.after all it nearly ended up an all honda grid at one time.

now that makes more sense

RE: Mccoy ..... anyone reckon its worth putting a bet on him for a race win or podium? .... or will there be too much of a power difference between the 990 and the 800?

i dont think its worth the bother, but my eldest bro thinks otherwise..

I think he will be surprisingly competitive but not so much as to get on the podium. I think a top 10 is possible for him though.

What tyres are they using? IIRC they used Dunlop in the last test, if they are going to race an experimental bike with 20% capacity less than the opposition and ...... tires, Cardoso might end NOT being last.

I am eagerly anticipating the Ilmor project to come to fruition!
Also, i wonder how KR chassis will be different than the HRC chassis. They will all pretty much be on the same base in the beginning of the year and then the new parts and development will kick in. Its definitly going to be interesting!

PS: WonderingCurve SUCKS!

GO GARY! GO"X3"!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Back in September at Barcelona, the Australian rider stunned the MotoGP fraternity with a super-fast test aboard the innovative X3 - where, as previously reported by Crash.net, McCoy outpaced the new 800cc Ducati GP7.
