If you could take a MotoGP motorcycle for a ride, where would you go?

No worries.
Just a bit hungover and generally sensitive to the poor .......s who copped it from Yolanda

Well whatever you're drinking, it's not effected your memory. What's on tap?

Was out on the piss last night catching up with old mates.
Mainly beer (highly exotic Carlton Draught, followed by Black and Tans), but lack of dinner made the morning a bit queasy...

Never heard of that. Sounds delicious.

Carlton is pretty much standard pub tap beer. average, but better than paying $8 for an import beer or some over-hopped <cough> craft beer.
When that gets ....., in goes the Abbotsford Invalid Stout. Walking stick stout.

Gp9 around the Nordschleife and
A9 Nürnberg-München ,lovely Autobahn to squeeze it.

It's my life's ambition to join the 200 club. I've joined the 100 countless times, but 200 still eludes me.

Oh,miles per hour? Hard to do. A lot gets fairly easy up to 180mph but those last 15-20....need some serious poke for that.
Anything above 150 is ....... fast ,especially on a naked. Ear plugs and diapers highly recommended

Those kind of speeds even in a straight line are completely hairy. I don't care what anyone says to the contrary. Try 180 in the bowl at Daytona. ....... psychedelic experience. You mostly lose sense of what's up and what's down. Even on a full fairing bike - it's like being in an insane wind tunnel and you can't really see peripherally. Feels like yer under water. How the .... anyone reads pit boards at speeds over 150 is beyond me.

The fastest I've clocked on the road is ***mph...which in real terms is likely somewhere between *** and *** although independent readings suggest higher. Agree with the previous posts, above 160 - entering the realm of hyperspace - and things get intriguing. The double vision at *** + is a pisser though.

Would like to crack to double ton but that's a meeting with Bruntingthorpe and a supercharged turbo 'Busa with a nitrous kit for good measure. There's a business idea and a half.

Personally though, I think it's more fun skimming a slider on a long constant radius turn.

Or even ...sliding the rear into bends through mind control alone.

It DOES work on old bikes. Silly you young man,not knowing that the drivetrains on those almost makes this a necessity to peel of the throttle to get it into the benduploadfromtaptalk1444978837957.jpg

Everyone has their Waterloo. Some, more than one.

I'm going to the NHRA drag races next month. For the past few years I've got to meet Antron Brown, Top Fuel driver. He says the retina in his eyes come unhinged in what he describes as the "explosion " that is the throttle. 0-100 in less than a sec, 330mph in a quarter mile in 3 secs and change.

The slower motorcycles go only 200mph in 6 secs and change.

Now that has got to be a rush.

Fastest I;ve been is about 140 on my 250 Honda superkart, I love how once you get over a ton 20, the wind noise overtakes the engine sound...

Agreed, cornering fast is much more fun than going fast on a straight, but once, just once I'd like to say I'd done 200 on something other than a plane.

P.S. Much respect!
