He had 40% of the total podium finishes by satellite riders that year, and the only 2nd place, all while racing for deadbeat D'Antin. Not a great season, but at least moments of success.

Way to turn the number 2 into a huge, more impressive number

Mind you 2 podiums is pretty good for "another Ducati rider"

But I still think its not what Ducati needs.

i know its not possible for next season but i wouldnt mind seing de puniet on a factory ducati or even a factoy honda for that matter.... i think elias would be a good option also

I would look at young riders. Promote Espargaro to factory team in 2011. Sic 58 would be great but he has contract with Honda. Meanwhile put Iannone on a sat bike for 2011, with an option for factory in 2012.

letz face the trut…hey will never ever get a wizkid like stoner in the first year ‘not even val’ my choice would be if they cant get val and that is between dovi or why not mika hes on a pramac hes riding a duke but judging by dovis time at honda hes at best juat a podium placer 3 and at best 2 but miracles can happen…dovi is wasting his time at honda maybe the duke is his saving grace?
