German national superbike championship at the Schleizer Dreieck, one of the oldest circuits in Germany that also happens to use public roads. I was unaware that the IDM had resurrected this venue to hold a superbike race. Reminds me of the A1 ring footage from 30-40 years ago. Very cool.

They've been running every year since like forever, just cut the sections that run between houses over the years.
I was there for the races in 2022.
Thanks for the pics! I didn't realize it had been running concurrently, but it's a bit difficult to pay attention to the IDM in the US, though youtube is helping. I thought Schleiz had passed on to the afterlife. I'm happy to hear it's been used all this time!

sbk1 was great with a last lap battle and crazy pace, Kofler in Ssp with a marquez style save 10 m in Front of us every other lap. Great weather, great people, great racing.

I feel sorry for everybody who has not been here, you guys should treat yourself to it. Food and smokes on us at the last corner if anyone wants to drop by , sitting right on corner exit

Cant wait for sidecars!
