Not because Yamaha weren't following his development direction. $15 million per year, and a new challenge would've helped make his mind up.

Umm ...... you are aware that Vinales beat rossi ?
To the point where he is only a few points behind rossi in the standings.
They are now fighting for 3rd and 4th. And given rossis characteristic of folding under pressure towards the end of the season ....... its not looking good for 3rd.

It was the fallout from the Sepang incident in 2015, 2016 was a terrible year for him as the ..... Lin Jarvis basically did everything to keep the t-shirt seller onside at the expense of the faster rider.
IMO Rossi did a Romani Fenati job on Marquez, but didn't get the penalty he should have done. All thanks to the crap that runs MotoGP.
