I think it's an early model RC211V 990. Notice the silencers, Honda haven't used silencers in MotoGP since 2003. Also note the old Repsol YPF decals on the sides.
yep the ypf stickers thats wrong. i think maybe an old video before rossi got a hold of the rcv. i remember him complaining about the size of the machine being way to small. he was cramped up an unable to move around on the bike. i guess the sound just a bit off but it must be 1 of the earliest versions.
NO,NO,NO, HRC got its budget cut so they pulled out old parts from the bins and sawed away to make a V3. Dani liked the elbow rest built onto the tank, and asked for the silencer caus earplugs don't fit very well in his helmet!!!

I still believe it is a very early RC211V. If it were the new 800c wouldn't Tohru Ukawa be the rider as he is the official HRC test rider? The rider on that bike is not Ukawa, Ukawa has been an Alpinestars rider for years and that rider is wearing Kushitani leathers.
