Where I am.
Hi all,
Thought I'd join this group and wondered why it took me so long to even look you all up.
I've been a MotoGP fan since about 2004. Time doesn't allow me to follow any other bike racing series, but I'm also a Formula 1 nut and have been following that closely for a good few years before.... more like 1995 or so.
Anyway, I can't say I'm a devout fan of any rider/team but there are those that I care for above average and those I don't much care for. The rest I'm 'indifferent' if you know what I mean though after watching them go live just beside the track, I have a HUGE respect for all of them as riders.
Those I care for 'above average' and this may because I like them and/or seriously admire their abilities that seem above the average on the grid:
Rossi, Dovi, Rins, Crutchlow, Vinales, Syahrin
Those that I don't much care for, usually because of their 'irritating' persona and/or below par abilities in my eyes:
Marquez, Lorenzo, Iannone.
Funnily, as I type their names, I almost wish to delete this part since I don't feel that strongly about it since as I said, I do have great respect for all of them. For instance, I find Marquez's abilities on the bike to be stunning to watch. Additionally, I don't really know these guys so any judgement h
as to be with reservation, so nothing categorical or conclusive. :spin:
Anyway, overall, just loving the racing to the point where I wish to share my enthusiasm.
Silverstone is the only track close enough for me to visit regularly. Donington would be great if it came back on the calendar. Hopefully, life will be less hectic to allow me a flyaway race or two in the near future.
Cheers!!!
